Yhdistyneet kansakunnat viettää 21. toukokuuta kansainvälistä teepäivää ja
kansainvälistä kulttuurisen monimuotoisuuden päivää niin päätimme yhdistää
nämä!

Miltä kuulostaisi eri maista peräisin olevien teelaatujen maistelu ja eri
maiden tee kulttuureista oppiminen? Turun YK-yhdistys tarjoaa tilaisuuden
tähän 21.5., jolloin Turun Kirjakahvilassa perehdymme erilaisiin
valikoituihin tee kulttuureihin muun muassa teen valmistustapojen kautta.

Tapahtuma sisältää lyhyet esittelyt jokaisesta teestä ja tee kulttuurista
sekä eri teelaatujen maistelua ja arviointia. Osallistujat saavat kahvilan
teekupit, kynät ja lomakkeen, johon voi kirjoittaa arvionsa kustakin
teelaaduista. Kahvilan tuotteita on mahdollista ostaa omakustanteisesti
tapahtuman aikana. Muuten tapahtuma on täysin ilmainen, tuo vain itsesi ja
kaverisi paikalle! Tapahtuma järjestetään yhteistyössä Interkulttuurinen
Foorumi ry:n, Turun Kirjakahvilan ja Viron kunniakonsulaatin kanssa.

The United Nations celebrates May 21st as both the International Tea Day
and the World Day for Cultural Diversity, so we decided to combine the two!

How does a tasting of teas from different countries and learning about
international tea cultures sound? The UN Association of Turku invites you
to join us on May 21st at Turku Book Café (Kirjakahvila), where we’ll
explore selected tea cultures through various preparation methods.

The event includes short introductions to each tea and its cultural
background, followed by tasting and evaluating the different tea varieties.
Participants will receive tea cups from the café, pens, and a form to write
down their thoughts on each tea. You may also buy other products from the
café at your own expense. Otherwise, the event is completely free, just
bring yourself and a friend! The event is organized in cooperation with
Intercultural Forum ry, Turku Book Café (Kirjakahvila), and the Honorary
Consulate of Estonia.
