[Antiquitas] AMME Seminar: Image and Power (5 March)

Dear all,

The topic of the next Ancient and Medieval Middle East seminar is "Image and Power". Amy Gansell (St. John's University) will give a talk titled "Neo-Assyrian Queens as Images and Agents of Power" and Ville Hakanen (University of Helsinki) a talk titled "Ancient Roman Viewer and Identification in Erotic Mythological Paintings".

The session takes place on Thursday 5 March at 5:15-7 pm in the Theology faculty hall (Fabianinkatu 24, room 524, access from the inner courtyard of Vuorikatu 3, Helsinki).

Coffee and buns will be served. You are very welcome to join us!
