TYRMY & KYSS saunailta 28.10. klo 18 / sauna evening 28th of October at 6 pm
TYRMY & KYSS (Kauppatieteen ylioppilaiden 
soitannallinen seura) kokoontuvat jälleen yhteiseen saunaillanviettoon. 
Ajankohta on keskiviikko 28.10. klo 18 alkaen ja paikkana toimii Parkki 
(Parkinkatu 6). Järjestöjen puolesta tarjotaan pientä naposteltavaa, 
joten tule saunomaan ja tutustumaan KYSSiläisiin!

 TYRMY and KYSS (A music association of economics students in Turku) 
will gather together in a sauna evening. Date and time are Wednesday the
 28th of October at 6 p.m. The place will be Parkki (Parkinkatu 6). 
TYRMY and KYSS will offer some snacks so come to sauna and meet our 
fellows!

Halloween-sitsit 31.10. klo 19 / Halloween sittning party 31st of October at 7 pm
TYRMY-sitsien aika on jälleen tullut. Yleisön 
pyynnöstä ja ajankohtaan sopien teemana on Halloween, joten pue 
karmaisevimmat kuteet niskaan ja tule sitsaamaan!

 Sitsit 
järjestetään lauantaina 31.10. osakuntatalo Uusi-S:llä (Kirkkotie 6). 
Sitsit alkavat tasan kello 19.00 (saavu hiukan etuajassa!). 
Osallistuminen maksaa TYRMYn jäsenille 15 €(alkoholiton vaihtoehto 13 €)
 ja muille 18 € (alkoholittomasti 16 €). Osallistujamäärä on rajoitettu 
30:een ensimmäisenä ilmoittautuneeseen.

 Hintaan kuuluu ruokajuoma, snapsi, alku-, pää- ja jälkiruoka sekä kahvi/tee liköörillä.

 It's time for TYRMY sittning. The crowd has spoken and the theme will be 
 Halloween which is also suitable for the date. So get in your creepiest clothing and head to the sittning!

 Sitz party is on Saturday the 31st of October in UusiS (Kirkkotie 6) 
and starts at 7 pm sharp (remember to be there a bit before that!). Sitz
 party costs 15 € for TYRMY members (alcohol-free 13 €) and for others 
18 € (alc-free 16 €). Number of participants is limited to the first 30 
to sign up.

 The price includes starter booze and beer/cider, starter and main course, dessert and coffee/tea with liqueur.

TYRMYn Syyskokous 11.11. klo 18 / University of Turku Metal Club (TYRMY) Autumn meeting 11th of November at 6 pm
TYRMY ry:n sääntömääräinen syyskokous järjestetään 
Proffan kellarin isossa kabinetissa keskiviikkona 11.11. kello 18.00. 
Syyskokous on yhdistyksen tärkein vuosittainen kokous, sillä siellä 
päätetään tulevan vuoden toimintasuunnitelma, talousarvio sekä valitaan 
uusi hallitus.

 Yhdistyksen jäsenet voivat esittää tärkeäksi 
kokemiaan asioita yhdistyksen kokouksen käsiteltäväksi. Esimerkiksi 
vuoden 2014 syyskokouksessa äänestettiin yhdistyksen virallisesta 
englanninkielisestä nimestä. Jos haluat oman ehdotuksesi syyskokouksen 
käsiteltäväksi, lähetä se sähköpostilla hallitukselle 
(tyrmy at lists.utu.fi) viimeistään sunnuntaina 8.11. Kokouksen varsinainen
 esityslista ja tarvittavat liitteet lähetetään maanantaina 9.11.

 Syyskokouksessa kaikki yhdistyksen jäsenet voivat vaikuttaa päätöksentekoon ja saavat äänestää. Tervetuloa!

 TYRMY’s annual autumn meeting takes place on Wednesday the 11th of 
November at 6 pm. We have reserved the big cabinet from Proffan Kellari 
for the meeting. The autumn meeting is the most important annual meeting
 of the association, since we will decide next year’s action plan, 
propose a budget for next year and choose a new board.

 The 
members can suggest important things to be decided in the meeting. For 
example last year we decided about the official English name of TYRMY 
(University of Turku Metal Club). If you want to bring thigs up in the 
meeting send them by e-mail to the board (tyrmy at lists.utu.fi) by Sunday 
the 8th of November. The meeting's agenda and attachments will be sent 
on Monday the 9th of November.

 In the autumn meeting every member of TYRMY can affect on decisions and get a chance to vote. Welcome!

For the second time, TYRMY has candidates for the election of the new Studen Union Council. The election will be held at 3rd to 4th of November (in-advance-voting 26th to 29th of October). If you have paid the TYY membership fee you can vote.
The main theme of the TYRMY candidate list is to note the importance of hobby organizations such as TYRMY. At the moment the information on the campaign site is only in Finnish but you can find it here: https://www.facebook.com/tyrmylista

Reminder: TYRMY Leffailta / Movie Night: Marty McFly Welcome Party ke 21.10. klo 17 / Wed 21st of October at 5 pm
Keskiviikkona 21.10. Paluu Tulevaisuuteen leffojen 
päähenkilö, Marty McFly saapuu tähän aikaan ja paikkaan. Tai no ei 
Turkuun, mutta Hill Valleyyn, USA:han. Vaikka tämä ei liity mitenkään 
varsinaiseti TYRMYyn, niin juhlistetaan kuitenkin tapausta leffaillan 
merkeissä ja katsellaan koko Paluu Tulevaisuuteen -trilogia klo 17 
alkaen Yo-kylä lännen kerhotilassa (Inspehtorinkatu 4B, Kylänvalinnan ja TYS asukastoimiston takana olevan parkkipaikan laidalla).

On Wednesday the 21st of October the main character of the Back to The Future movies, Marty McFly, comes to this
 time and space. Well not exaclty to Turku but Hill Valley, USA. 
Although this has nothing to do with TYRMY, let's celebrate it with a 
movie night and watch the whole Back to The Future trilogy in the club 
room of Student Village West (Inspehtorinkatu 4B, next to the parking lot behind the K-market Kylänvalinta and housing office of TYS) beginning at 5 p.m.
