MSc Thesis position in Enzymology/Protein engineering at the Technical Research Centre of Finland (VTT):

We are looking for a motivated bioscientist to conduct his/hers MSc Thesis work in the Finnish Centre of Excellence in White biotechnology-Green Chemistry programme (led by Prof. Merja Penttilä) related to enzymatic conversion of biomass based sugars. The work includes expression, characterisation and engineering of enzymes, and will be conducted at the VTT Biotechnology unit in Otaniemi (http://www.vtt.fi/service/bio/). Background in biotechnology, biochemistry, microbiology or in related biosciences field is required.
