An industry recognised expert in Magento is looking for a motivated PHP developer intern to join the team. The internship is based in Bath, UK. 

The Role
You'll be working directly with the developers and project manager. From day one you will be working on tasks key to the development cycle. Any previous experience of Magento is not expected as the company has built a huge amount of knowledge to share with you! There will also be an opportunity to sit Magento training courses and certifications. Your day-to-day activities will, consist of customising Magento through the creation of themes and extensions. Tasks will range from integrating third-party APIs, to analysing and optimizing site speed, to assisting frontend developers with their responsive builds.

Essential Skills
. Knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML and CSS
. Exercise understanding of Object-Oriented JavaScript.

Desirable Skills
. Magento, or experience working on eCommerce system.
. PHP Unit and test driven development experience.
. Familiarity with Agile development practices.
