Finland in Comparison III: Small Societies and Big History Tampere, Finland,
October 27–28, 2014

The third meeting in the international seminar series Finland in Comparison
organized by the Finnish Centre of Excellence in Historical Research will
discuss discuss and reassess national histories in comparative perspective. The
theme of the year is "small societies and big history".

Keynote Speakers

Stephen Broadberry (London School of Economics, UK)
Margaret Hunt (Uppsala University, Sweden)
Pavel Kolář (European University Institute, Italy)
