[Gross] Last of the release candidates, I hope

Hello,

I was forced to release yet another release candidate, gross-1.0rc4. If 
it was just the logstr format bug I could have released 1.0 right away. 
Due to bad choice of a roff macro package for the man pages I have not 
yet received any feedback on man pages.

Please, send me feedback (preferably through this list), so we can 
release the beast.

Differences between rc3 and rc4:

- rewritten man pages with perlpod. I tried to avoid dependency to pod2man,
- fixed a format bug (issue #61)
