[Antiquitas] Violence, War, and Suffering: Passages IX Conference in August 2025, Tampere Uni. Registration open!

Dear colleagues,

the program for the 9th Passages from Ancient to Medieval and Early Modern Societies Conference has been published, and the registration is now open. We thank you for interesting proposals to this year's theme "Violence, War, and Suffering".
The conference takes place in 13-15 Aug 2025 in Tampere University and it is organised by Trivium - Tampere Centre for Classical, Medieval, and Early Modern Studies (Tampere University) in collaboration with the project Portrayals of pain and models of manliness: the suffering male body in Western art and culture directed by Elina Pyy (funded by Kone Foundation).
