Together with my colleague, prof. Andrea Cuomo, I am organizing a two-day winter school at Ghent University, Belgium (December 9-10, 2024) that aims to provide an introduction to the historical (socio)linguistics of Ancient & Medieval Greek. More information can be found at https://www.greeklinguistics.ugent.be/

The course is supported by the OIKOS Research School in Classical Studies.

To apply, please send an email to klaas.bentein at ugent.be and andrea.cuomo at ugent.be. Please include in your email a short motivation, outlining your background, research interests and why you would like to follow this course. The deadline for applications is *October 31*, but we encourage everyone to apply as soon as possible.
