Dear list members,

We are pleased to invite you to the 3rd ENCODE Project Conference (Multilingual and Multicultural Digital Infrastructures for Ancient Written Artefacts). This online conference is organised on 2 November (13.30 - 18.00 CET) by the Ancient History research unit of KU Leuven. We have compiled an interesting programme with a wide range of experts  in the field of digital infrastructures for research on ancient texts. Speakers are: James Cowey (Papyri.info<http://Papyri.info>, Universität Heidelberg), Kim Pham (MPIWG, Berlin), Pascal Belouin (MPIWG, Berlin), Matthew Munson (Formulae - Litterae - Chartae, Universität Hamburg), and Mark Depauw (Trismegistos, KU Leuven).

Additionally, a call for participation is open for the 2nd ENCODE Intensive Training event on Multilingual and Multicultural Digital Infrastructures for Ancient Written Artefacts from 3-5 November 2021. These workshops will be held online with morning (10.00 - 13.00 CET) and afternoon sessions (14.00 - 17.00 CET). Trainers are: James Cowey (Papyri.info<http://Papyri.info>, Universität Heidelberg), Mark Depauw (Trismegistos, KU Leuven), Irene Vagionakis (DiSCi, Alma Mater Studiorum Università di Bologna), Pietro Liuzzo (Universität Hamburg), Marta Fogagnolo (DiSCi, Alma Mater Studiorum Università di Bologna), Daria Elagina (Universität Hamburg), Toon Van Hal (Pedalion, KU Leuven) and Reuben Pitts (CEIPoM, KU Leuven).
