Postdoctoral scholarship (2 years) in premodern studies
The Faculty of Arts and Umeå Group for Premodern Studies (UGPS) at  
Umeå University, Sweden invite applications for postdoctoral  
scholarship in Premodern studies. UGPS is a group of scholars and  
doctoral students constituted with the purpose to conduct  
internationally successful research in a broad multidisciplinary  
perspective on periods before 1800 in collaboration with international  
research groups and networks, focusing on three main themes:

  *   political culture
  *   gender
  *   emotions

We welcome applications from a wide range of disciplines on topics  
connecting to these themes in a broad sense. The post doc will be  
attached to UGPS and stationed at Umeå University and the Faculty of  
Arts in Umeå.
