<p><a name="IDAMRIOD"></a><a name="IDAPRIOD"></a><span lang="EN-US" style="color:black">World Food Programme (WFP) is the world’s largest humanitarian agency fighting hunger worldwide. In 2012,
</span><span lang="EN-US">we reached over 97 million people with food assistance in 80 countries. WFP is part of the United Nation system and voluntarily funded.

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-autospace:none"><span lang="EN-GB">WFP Nordic Liaison Office, housed in the new UN City in Copenhagen, raises awareness of the plight of hunger and malnutrition and what WFP does to fight it. Our main platforms are our own homepages
and social media channels – we have a homepage, a Facebook page and a Twitter account for each of the Nordic countries. We also lecture for schools and universities, we participate in meetings, workshops and conferences and we reach out to the general public
through different campaigns and information activities. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-autospace:none"><span lang="EN-GB"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-autospace:none"><span lang="EN-GB">The WFP Nordic Liaison office also serves as liaison between the WFP headquarters, regional and country offices and donor and other partner representatives in the Nordic countries.<br>

Through our<span style="color:black"> internship programme we employ 4 students – one from each of the Nordic countries Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden. The internship starts on 27<sup>
