Suomen UNICEF hakee korkeakouluharjoittelijaa projektiassistentin tehtävään *koulukampanjoihin* kolmeksi kuukaudeksi ajalle 1.8.-31.10.2007. Projektiassistentin toimenkuvaan kuuluu kouluihin suuntautuvissa viestintä- ja varainkeruukampanjoissa avustaminen, mm. tilausliikenteessä ja asiakaspalvelussa avustaminen. Hakijalta toivotaan omatoimista, vastuullista ja tarkkaa otetta. Edellytämme hyvää suomen kielen hallintaa, ruotsinkielen taito ja valmius vierailla kouluissa katsotaan eduksi.

Harjoitteluista ei makseta palkkaa. Haastattelut tehdään viikolla 13.

YK ja sosiaalipolitiikka kansainvälisenä sosiaalipolitiikan päivänä 12.3.2007 SEMINAARI

Aika: Maanantai 12.3.2007 klo 13 – 16
Paikka: Tieteiden talo Kirkkokatu 6, Helsinki, Sali 505
Järjestäjät: Sosiaalipoliittinen yhdistys ja Suomen ICSW-toimikunta

Tavoite: Arvioidaan Yhdistyneitä Kansakuntia ja sen suhdetta muihin kansainvälisiin järjestöihin globaalin hallinnan ja sosiaalipolitiikan kannalta.

Osanottajat: Seminaarin osanottajiksi ovat tervetulleita sosiaalipolitiikan tutkijat ja opiskelijat, sosiaali- ja terveyden-huollon työntekijät ja luottamushenkilöt sekä muut aiheesta kiinnostuneet.

FinMUN hakee uusia toimijoita kaudelle 2007-2008!

FINMUN BOARD ELECTIONS FOR 2007-2008

Dear members,

After a succesful FINMUN 2007 Conference, it is time to elect the new board
that will take the Finnish Model United Nations Society ahead for the next
year. This will take place in the Official Spring General Assembly of FinMUN
on Tuesday 20.3.2007 at 6 PM. An invitation to the assembly will follow.

I will be stepping down as well as some other board members, so it's time
for a new wave in the FinMUN Society. Now it's your turn to keep the work of
FinMUN going: be a part of organising the next FINMUN 2008 conference
organising committee work, arranging trainings, gathering people to foreign
MUNs or what ever the next board wants to do involving the world of model
UN!

Personally after two years, I can recommend FinMUN as an awesome experience.
Even though I've been working as a consultant for the past 3 years, FinMUN
has offered chances and challenges that have changed be as a person. At the
same time I've made great friends, learnt about the UN and global politics,
met high rank persons I would never had met otherwise, created good
contacts, which we'll be useful in the future etc.!
