Tässä taas uusia TYRMY-tapahtumia, jotka kannattaa pistää muistiin. Luvassa on muun muassa syksyn ensimmäinen kansainvälinen tapahtuma Crashcourse to Finnish culture, joka jatkuu rock/metallihenkisen karaoken parissa sekä TYRMY Cupin minicurling-osakilpailu. Vielä ei myöskään ole myöhäistä lähteä TYYn edarivaaleihin TYRMYn ehdokkaaksi, joten jos sellainen asia kiinnostaa, alla on tiedot tulevasta rekrytilaisuudesta. Voit myös auttaa vaalikampanjoinnissa tai esimerkiksi graafisessa suunnittelussa.

Here are again news of upcoming TYRMY events to remember. First of all, this fall's first international event called Crashcourse to Finnich culture is held and later that evening rock/metal karaoke and as a part of TYRMY Cup sporting events there's going to be minicurling. Also it's not too late to run as a candidate for the election of the Student Union Council of TYY so if you're interested, look up the info on the recruitment meeting below. You can also choose to help with the campaign or for example with graphic design.

TYRMY International Event: Crashcourse to Finnish culture + rock karaoke Friday October 2nd:

TYRMY is having an international event (where the use 
of Finnish language is forbidden) on Friday October 2nd at the bar 
Proffan Kellari (Rehtorinpellonkatu 6) upstairs cabinet. Evening starts 
at 7 pm with a crash course of Finnish culture. TYRMY will offer some 
traditional Finnish snacks and there will be a test of knowledge about 
Finnish things. The ones who know best will be rewarded.

 We'll head for the CocoLoco karaokebar  (Uudenmaankatu 12 B, http://www.cocolocobar.fi/
 ) around 9 pm where the individual abilities to sing are secondary to 
the loud group of metalheads yelling together. Between the metal and 
rock songs you'll hear the natives sing their deppressive schlager songs
 in the darkness of the autumn rain - Welcome to the suck!

Lyhyesti suomeksi: Perjantaina 2.10 klo 19 alkaen järjestetään kansainvälinen tapahtuma, jossa esimerkiksi vaihtarit pääsevät tutustumaan suomalaisiin asioihin. Suomen kielen käyttö on kantasuomalaisilta tapahtumassa kiellettyä, joten kommunikointi suoritetaan muita kieliä käyttäen. Noin klo 21 jatketaan karaokebaari CocoLocossa (Uudenmaankatu 12 B, http://www.cocolocobar.fi/
 ) rock/metallikaraoken voimin.

TYRMY Cup: Minicurling to 15.10. / Thu October 15th:

TYRMY Cupin seuraava osakilpailu on minicurling, joka pidetään to 15.10. klo 18 Kiitoradalla (Yliopistonkatu 29).

 Radat täytyy varata etukäteen ja samalla myös maksaa, joten 
osallistujilta vaaditaan SITOVA ilmoittautuminen to 8.10. mennessä. 
Ilmoittautua voi Facebook-tapahtumassa tai lähettämällä Jetrolle 
sähköpostia osoitteeseen jejove(@)utu.fi (poista sulkeet).Osallistuminen
 maksaa 4-6 €/hlö riippuen osallistujien määrästä (yksi rata maksaa 16 
€/h).

 Joten jos haluat mukaan, ilmoittaudu! Eikä haittaa, 
vaikket olisikaan osallistunut muihin TYRMY Cupin osakilpailuihin. Voit 
silti liittyä joukkoon!

 The next event of TYRMY Cup is minicurling which will be held on Thursday 15th of October at Kiitorata (Yliopistonkatu 29).

 The tracks must be booked beforehand and also at the same time paid 
for, so BINDING sing-up is needed by Thu 8th of October. You can sign up in theFacebook event or by e-mailing Jetro at jejove(@)utu.fi 
(remove brackets). Minicurling costs 4-6 € per person depending on the 
amount of people (one trach costs 16€/hour).

 So if you want to 
join, sign-up! And it doesn't matter if you haven't taken part in any 
other TYRMY Cup events. You can take part nonetheless!

TYRMYn edustajistovaalirekry ti 29.9. / TYRMY recruitment for the Student Union Council Tue September 29th:

Turun yliopiston ylioppilaskunnan (TYY) 
edustajistovaalit ovat taas tänä syksynä. TYRMY etsii nyt jäsenistöstään
 halukkaita edustamaan TYRMYä ja samalla ajamaan TYYn järjestöjen etua. 
Jokainen TYYn jäsenmaksun maksanut voi asettua ehdolle ja äänestää 
vaaleissa. 

 Kiinnostuitko? Tule TYRMYn edustajistovaalirekryyn 
tiistaina 29.9. klo 18 Proffan kellarissa. Saapuminen paikalle ei 
velvoita mihinkään. Kampanjassa voi olla mukana myös muilla tavoin kuin 
asettumalla itse ehdolle. Tule mukaan tukemaan TYRMY edariin!

Vaikka et haluaisikaan lähteä ehdolle niin paikalle kannattaa silti 
tulla keskustelemaan. Myös muuta apua tarvitaan esim. graafisen 
materiaalin tekemisessä ja talkootyössä.

 The student union of the University of Turku (TYY) holds an election 
for members of the Student Union Council again this fall. TYRMY is 
looking for people interested in representing TYRMY and in general 
taking part in solving any TYY sub-organisation issues. Everyone who has
 paid the TYY membership fee can run as a candidate and vote in the 
election.

 Interested? Come to Proffan kellari on Tuesday 29th 
of September at 6 PM and show your support. Joining does not bind you to
 anything at this point. You can support TYRMY's campaing in any way 
that feels comfortable, everyone don't have to become candidates.

 Though you don't want to take part as a candidate you should still come
 to discuss about TYRMYs interests. Also we need help with for ex. 
graphical material etc.
