Moikka!

Hello!

It’s time to remind you to pay the FSHS healthcare fee for the fall semester. The due date for this payment is 15 November 2026 and the fee is 35,35€. Students who are completing a degree at a Finnish institution of higher education and have registered as attending for the fall semester must pay the fee. You will not be sent a bill, so the payment must be paid to Kela on your own. If you do not pay the fee by the due date, Kela charges a 5€ delay fee.

You can find more information about the healthcare fee here: https://www.kela.fi/student-healthcare-fee-higher-education

Note: You do not have to pay the healthcare fee if you have social security coverage in another EU or EEA country, Switzerland, Great Britain, Northern Ireland or the EU. In this case, you can use the services of the FSHS even if you do not pay the healthcare fee. You can find more information about this here: https://www.kela.fi/student-healthcare-fee-higher-education#if-you-come-to-finland-as-a-degree-student-from-another-eu-or-eea-country-switzerland-great-britain-or-northern-ireland
