1. Mikä on Technica?

Technica on tiedekuntajärjestö kaikille teknillisen tiedekunnan opiskelijoille eli myös just sulle!

Technicassa me tehdään edunvalvontaa, tapahtumia, haalarimerkkejä ja valitaan myös esim. teknillisen vuoden opettaja! Voit tutustua meidän toimintaan tarkemmin nettisivujen, Instagramin ja Telegramin kautta ja muista myös osallistua meidän tapahtumiin joista suuri osa on täysin ilmaisia!

Jos hallitustoiminta kiinnostaa niin voit syyskokouksessa hakea mukaan myös meidän ensi vuoden hallitukseen! Technicassa hallitustoiminta on hieman rennompaa kuin ainejärjestössä, koska toimintaa ja kokouksia on hieman vähemmän, mutta kyllä tekevälle aina riittää hommaa! Lisää hallitustoiminnasta voi kysyä meidän hallituslaisilta, jotka tunnistaa nyt ja tulevina vuosina vihreästä Technican logolla varustetusta huivista, joka saattaa roikkua esim. haalareissa.

What is Technica?

Technica is a faculty organization for all students of the Faculty of Technology so that includes you too!

At Technica, we work on student advocacy, organize events, make overall patches, and for example choose the Teacher of the Year in Technical faculty! You can learn more about what we do from our website, Instagram, and Telegram. And remember to come to our events, many of which are completely free!

If board work interest you, you can also apply to join our board for next year at the regulatory fall meeting! Board activities at Technica are a bit more relaxed than in subject organizations as there are fewer activities and meetings. However, there is always plenty to do if you want to get involved!You can ask our board members for more information about board activities. You can recognize them now and in the coming years from the green scarf with Technica’s logohanging from their overalls for example.

2. Muistutus: Alkulämppä pe 4.9.

Pe 4.9. klo 18–21 järjestetään Kuuvuoren kentällä rennon urheilullinen rastikierros. Osallistujat jaetaan pieniin ryhmiin, joiden kanssa kierrellään erilaisia pihapelejä. Tule siis mukaan viettämään rentoa perjantai-iltaa ja tutustumaan uusiin ihmisiin! Lisätietoja Technican IG & TG.

Reminder: Warm up Fri 4th on September

On September 4th at 18-21 a relaxed but a bit sporty event will be held at Kuuvuori field. Participants will be divided into small groups and together you will go around the field playing some outdoor games. Come and join us for a nice Friday evening and meet some new people! More information from Technica’s IG and TG.

3. Ehdota ansiomerkin saajaa

Tänä vuonna (2026) myönnetään enintään 10 kpl ansiomerkkiä.
Ansiomerkki voidaan myöntää henkilölle, jolla vähintään yksi seuraavista kelpoisuusvaatimuksista täyttyy:

  1.  henkilö on toiminut vähintään vuoden Technica ry:n hallituksessa,
  2.  henkilö on toiminut aktiivisesti Technica ry:n toimikunnassa tai toimihenkilönä,
  3.  henkilö on toiminut aktiivisesti vähintään yhden kauden teknillisen tiedekunnan johtokunnassa tai tiedekunnan perustutkintokoulutuksen kehittämistoimikunnassa, tai
  4.  henkilö on ollut aktiivisesti teknillisen tiedekunnan laajuisessa projektissa tai työryhmässä osallisena.

Kun vähintään yksi kelpoisuusvaatimus täyttyy, käytetään arvioinnin pohjana seuraavia:

  1.  täyttyykö kelpoisuusvaatimuksista useampi kuin yksi,
  2.  onko henkilö toiminut kahden tai useamman vuoden ajan Technica ry:n hallituksessa,
  3.  onko henkilö edistänyt Technica ry:n ja/tai teknillisen tiedekunnan toimintaa, kuten tavoitteita, edunvalvontaa, yhteisöllisyyttä, tapahtumia, ja
  4.  miten henkilö on suoriutunut kelpoisuusvaatimuksen täyttävässä tehtävässä/tehtävissä.

Nominate recipient of Medal of Merit

In 2026, up to ten (10) Medals of Merit will be awarded.

The Medal of Merit may be awarded to a person who meets at least one of the following eligibility requirements:

  1.  The person has served on the Board of Technica ry for at least one year.
  2.  The person has been actively involved in a committee or served as an officer of Technica ry.
  3.  The person has actively served for at least one term on the Faculty of Technology’s Faculty Council or the Faculty’s Committee for the Development of Undergraduate Education.
  4.  The person has actively participated in a Faculty of Technology-wide project or working group.

Criteria for evaluation
Once at least one of the eligibility requirements has been met, the following criteria will be taken into consideration when evaluating candidates:

  1.  Whether the person meets more than one of the eligibility requirements.
  2.  Whether the person has served on the Board of Technica ry for two or more years.
  3.  Whether the person has contributed to the activities and development of Technica ry and/or the Faculty of Technology, for example by advancing its objectives, advocacy, sense of community, or events.
  4.  How the person has performed in the role or roles through which they meet the eligibility requirements.

4. Tervetuloa juhlistamaan 5-vuotiasta Technicaa

Arvoisa Teknillisen tiedekunnan opiskelija tai alumni,

Tervetuloa juhlistamaan 5-vuotiasta Technicaa lauantaina 26.9. vuosijuhlien merkeissä.

Vuosijuhlat alkavat cocktailtilaisuuden merkeissä kello 16 Agoran aulassa, jossa Technican hallitus vastaanottaa tervehdyksiä kutsuvierailta sekä muilta tahoilta tai yksilöiltä jotka haluavat muistaa Technicaa juhlapäivänään. Cocktailtilaisuuden päätyttyä siirrymme yhteiskuljetuksin Agoran edustalta pääjuhlaa viettämään.

Pääjuhla pidetään Panimoravintola Koulun (Eerikinkatu 18<https://www.google.com/maps/search/Eerikinkatu+18?entry=gmail&source=g>) Bellman-juhlasalissa kello 18 alkaen. Pääjuhlien aikana juhlavieraille tarjoillaan kolmen ruokalajin illallinen, alkusnapsi, kaksi viinikaatoa sekä kahviavec. Tarkemmat tiedot illan menusta löytyy alempaa ja erikseen ilmoitetut erityisruokavaliot huomioidaan. Pääjuhlan aikana sekä tauoilla juhlakansan on myös mahdollista omakustanteisesti nauttia ravintolan muustakin juomatarjonnasta, mikäli haluaa.

Pääjuhlan päätyttyä siirrymme salaiseen jatkopaikkaan, jossa juhlia voi jatkaa halutessaan vaikka aamuun asti. Pääjuhlassa tai jatkoilla ei ole suotavaa nautiskella omia juomia.

Seuraavan päivän silliaamiainen, tai tuttavallisemmin sillis, järjestetään TYYn saunalla (Rehtorinpellonkatu 4<https://www.google.com/maps/search/Rehtorinpellonkatu+4?entry=gmail&source=g>) kello 11 alkaen ja kestää noin kello 18 asti. Silliksellä on mahdollista rentoutua vapaammissa merkein esimerkiksi saunoen, sekä ruuasta ja juomasta nautiskellen. Mikäli halajatte saunomaan, otattehan myös oman pyyhkeen ja uima-asun mukaan.

Pukukoodi vuosijuhlille on tumma puku sekä akateemiset kunniamerkit. Silliksellä pukukoodi on vapaampi, päälle voi pukea esimerkiksi haalarit tai muuta rennompaa vaatetusta taikka asustetta.

Illalliskortti juhliin kustantaa 70 €, ja sillikselle pääsee osallistumaan 10 € lisämaksusta.

Ilmoittautuminen on auki nyt  ja päättyy perjantaina 11.9. kello 23:59. Mahdollisen avecin tulee ilmoittautua erikseen.

Welcome to celebrate Technica’s 5th anniversary

Dear student or alumnus of the Faculty of Technology,

Welcome to celebrate Technica’s 5th anniversary on Saturday, September 26, at our annual celebration!

The annual celebration will begin with a cocktail reception at 16:00 in the lobby of Agora. During the reception, the Technica board will receive greetings and congratulations from invited guests, as well as from any other organizations, groups, or individuals who wish to commemorate Technica on its special day.

After the cocktail reception, we will travel together from outside Agora to the main celebration. The main celebration will take place at 18:00 in the Bellman Banquet Hall at Panimoravintola Koulu (Eerikinkatu 18). During the evening, guests will be served a three-course dinner, a welcome schnapps, two servings of wine, and coffee with an avec. Dietary requirements submitted in advance will be accommodated. Guests may also purchase additional drinks from the restaurant at their own expense.

After the main celebration, we will move on to a secret afterparty location. Please note that consuming your own drinks is not permitted at the main celebration or at the afterparty.

The following day, the traditional sillis (herring breakfast) will be held at the TYY sauna (Rehtorinpellonkatu 4) starting at 11:00 and lasting until approximately 18:00. The sillis offers a laid-back setting to relax, enjoy food and drinks, and visit the sauna. If you plan to use the sauna, please remember to bring your own towel and swimwear.

The dress code for the annual celebration is a dark suit with academic decorations. For the sillis, the dress code is more relaxed; student overalls or other casual wear are welcome.

The dinner ticket costs 70 €, and participation in the sillis costs an additional 10 €.

Registration is now open and closes on Friday, September 11 at 23:59. Any avec must register separately.

6. Lunasta noppahaalarimerkit
suorittamiasi opintopisteitä vastaan

Hoi akateeminen ase! Nyt on aika niittää palkintoja kovasta opiskelutaakasta.

Technica on yhdessä Teknillisen tiedekunnan kanssa luonut upeat noppanopat, joita saa lunastettua Technicalta suoritettuja opintopisteitä vastaan. Noppahaalarimerkkejä saat kerättyä aina yhden per 60 opintopistettä. Merkin saa lunastettua näyttämällä opintopistesaldoa Pepistä tai Opintopolusta.

Merkkeihin lasketaan Teknillisessä tiedekunnassa suoritettavaa tutkintoa varten suoritetut opintopisteet ja merkkejä saa myös takautuvasti.

Haalarimerkkejä voi noutaa aina puolen tunnin ajan ennen hallituksen kokouksen alkamista.

Claim overall patches based on
your completed study credits

Hey you academic weapon! It’s time to enjoy the results of hard studying.

Technica along with the Faculty of Technology have created amazing credit dice that you can receive from Technica by completing study credits. You will receive one dice overall badge per each set of 60 credits completed. The badge can be received by showing your total study credits from Peppi or Opintopolku.

Only credits completed towards a degree in the Faculty of Technology count and you may collect badges retrospectively.

Patches can be picked up during the 30 minutes leading up to each board meeting.
