Hei rakas jäsenistö!

Vallitseva tilanne on ajanut tapahtumat ahtaalle, mukaan lukien vapun ajan suunnitelmat. Vietämmekin tiedettävästi TYK ry:n ensimmäistä etävappua! Vappu on lyhentynyt juhlittavaksi vappuviikolle eli järjestöjen tapahtumia juhlitaan ma-ke 27.-29.4, ja torstaina 30.4., eli vapunaattona, voidaan nauttia TYY:n järjestämistä hulabaloista. Turun wappuradio kuitenkin lähettää wappuohjelmaa jo 23.4. alkaen, joten tsekkaa siis ehdottomasti turunwappuradio.com.

TYK ry:n vapputapahtumat alkavat klo 18:00, joten paikalle olisi hyvä ‘saapua’ ajoissa.

Maanantai 27.4.:
Power Hour ja peli-ilta

TYK ry:n etävapun aloittaa rytinällä Power Hour! Maanantaina klo 18 alkaen Zoom laitetaan koville, kun (bio)kemistit ja muutoin keemikot juhlistavat vapun aloitusta voimatunnin merkeissä. Tapahtuman pohjaidea: juo 4 cl valitsemaasi nestettä minuutin välein tunnin ajan.

Power Hourin jälkeen klo 19 on myös rennompiotteinen peli-ilta. Liity mukaan pelailemaan Zoomiin erilaisia lautapelejä ystävien kera. Ohjelmassa on piirrä ja arvaa sekä Cards Against Humanity, mutta myös osallistujien ehdotuksia otetaan vastaan.

Kummatkin maanantain tapahtumista järjestetään Zoomissa. Tapahtumiin ei tarvitse ilmoittautua. Zoom-linkki tapahtumiin lähetetään myöhemmin.

Tiistai 28.4.:
Pubivisa

TYK ry:n vappu on muuntunut etäyhteyksiin ja niin myös vapun pubivisa! Pubivisassa kisaillaan tiistaina 28.4. klo 18 alkaen Zoomissa. Osallistuaksesi visaan tarvitset joukkueen ja sille kapteenin. Joukkueen maksimikoko on neljä osanottajaa (kapteeni+3). Kysymykset esitetään Zoomissa yleisesti, jonka jälkeen voitte keskustella joukkueenne kanssa omassa "huoneessa" ilman, että muut sitä kuulevat muutaman minuutin ajan. Sinun ei siis tarvitse olla samassa tilassa joukkueesi jäsenten kanssa! Huijaaminen ei ole toivottavaa ja siitä rangaistaan tapahtumavastaavien langettamalla vihalla ja seitsemän vuoden epäonnella.

Pubivisan joukkueet on ilmoitettava perjantaihin 24.4. klo 12 mennessä. Zoom-linkki jaetaan ilmoittautuneille sähköpostitse. Visaan mahtuvat kaikki halukkaat ja ilmoittautuminen on jo mahdollista.

Keskiviikko 29.4.:
Pikniksitsit

Poikkeuksellisen tilanteen vuoksi TYK ry järjestää ensimmäiset etäsitsit vappuviikon keskiviikkona 29.4. klo 18 alkaen Zoomissa. Sitsata voi siis ihan omalta kotisohvaltaan ja sitseille pääsee mukaan 30 ensimmäistä onnekasta henkilöä. Sitsit kestävät noin 2 h ja menu on juuri se mitä kotoasi löytyy. Teemana piknik eli voit perinteikkäästi grillata makkarat tai valmistaa evässämpylät sitsiherkuiksi.
Voit toivoa pöytäseurueeseesi henkilöä, jonka kanssa pääset samaan "huoneeseen". Laulukirjana käytetään tuttuun tapaan Katalystiä. Mikäli kotoasi ei löydy katalystiä, ilmoitathan sen lomakkeessa. Sitsit ovat tällä kertaa hyvinkin kirjaimellisesti OPM.

Ilmoittautuminen sitseille aukeaa maanantaina 20.4. klo 12 ja ilmoittautuminen on auki sunnuntaihin 26.4. klo 12 asti. Zoom-linkki jaetaan ilmoittautuneille sähköpostitse.

Hello to all of you,

the ongoing situation has put us to the hard place with activities but there’s one thing that remains and that is the 1st of May celebrations! This year 1st of May activities are for three days (Mon-Wed 27.-29.4.) and the 1st of May Eve (Thursday 30.4.) celebrations are organized by TYY.

All TYK ry’s activities take part on Zoom and start at 18:00 so be on time! Down below are more specific info of activities and links if needed.

Monday 27.4. :
Power Hour and game night

TYK ry’s online 1st of May -celebrations shall begin with one and only: Power Hour! Starting on Monday 27.4. at 18 o’clock, Zoom will be put to the ultimate test as (bio)chemistry -minded party animals take over for an hour. The concept: for an hour, you will drink a shot (4 cl) of (your) chosen drink for every minute until the hour is full. Easy, eh?

For more relaxed Monday there is game night option. Join in Zoom to play board games with fellow students after the Power Hour session at 19 o’clock. There will be at least Pictionary and Cards Against Humanity, but you can suggest a game you like.

Tuesday 28.4.:
The Pub Quiz

TYK ry's 1st of May is now online and so is our pub quiz!  The pub quiz takes place in Zoom on Tuesday 28.4. starting at 18 o'clock. To take a part of the unbelievable quiz, you must form a team of four and choose a captain amongst yourselves. The questions are asked in the "main lobby". After every question you and your team have a couple of minutes to discuss the question in the room, you will be put in. No one else can hear you discuss and you don't need to be in the same place as your teammates! Cheating is forbidden and heavily punishable with the anger of the organizers and seven years of bad luck.

The registration for Pub Quiz must be done before Friday 24.4.12:00. The registration link for your team is already open. The Zoom meeting -link will be sent for those who register. The Quiz doesn’t have a limit for participants.

Wednesday 29.4.:
Picnicsitz

Because of the ongoing situation, TYK ry will hold online sitz for the first time in Zoom on Wednesday 29.4. at 18:00 o’clock. The sitz will hold 30 people by the order of registration. The sitz take for 2 hours and the menu is whatever you desire (=have at home). The theme is a picnic, so maybe prepare tradition hotdog meal or bring favourite summery sparkling wine?
You can wish for avec aka your companion for Zoom Room. We will use Katalysti as our songbook for the sitz. Please note us in the registration form if you do not own one. This time sitz is very literally BYOB.

The registration for the sitz opens on Monday 20.4. at 12:00 and it will be open until Sunday 26.4. 12:00 o’clock. The Zoom-link will be shared via e-mail.
