koodaat mielummin öisin kotona?
Googlen kesäkoodikampanja rantautuu nyt myös Aallon kampukselle.
Tietotekniikan tutkimuslaitos HIIT toimii mentorina kymmenessä open source
-projektissa. Projekteista löydät varmasti sopivan, oletpa sitten kiinnostunut
nano-tietokoneista tai Creative Commons -kuvista. Lisätietoja ohjelmasta ja
projektien kuvaukset löytyvät osoitteesta

Google maksaa 5000 dollarin korvauksen menestyksekkäästi projektin läpi
vieneille perus- tai jatko-opiskelijoille. Saat myös roppakaupalla Open

projektista.

Hi,
We are glad to inform that Helsinki Institute for Information Techonology
has been accepted as a mentoring organization for Google Summer of Code
2011 (GSoC). For those who are not aware of GSoC; GSoC is a global program
that offers student developers stipends to write code for various open
source software projects.
As a mentoring organization HIIT suggests 10 projects for students. You
can find more information about these projects from our ideas page

If you are interested in any of these projects, please contact the mentors.
All the required details are given in our ideas page.
This is a great opportunity for students to get themselves exposed to
real-world software development scenarios and gain recognition in the
open-source community. You will also receive a salary of $5000 and
certificate from Google at the end of the program in recognition of your
contribution to GSoC.
