Hi!

If you are planning to graduate in December, please read the following carefully.

Degree certificates are written in December for the last time at week 50. If you want to graduate then, bring your degree application to faculty office no later than 5.12. After that and before 3.1.2014 delivered applications for the degree will be handled so, that certificates will be written at week 2. These certificates can be dated in December 2013, if all study attainments are dated not later than 31.12.2013. If the right to study is coming to an end at the end of the year, date of the degree must be no later than 31.12.2013.
 
If your dissertation or licentiate thesis will be approved 12.12.2013 at the faculty board, your degree may be dated to the same week (week 50), if you have submitted your application 5.12.2013 at the latest.

Graduates must take account that part of the staff who is dealing with the graduation process at the departments, may be on vacation at the end of the year. For this reason, all requests concerning your graduation must be made well in advance. 

Please note that if you want to graduate in December, the deadline for accepting thesis in Department of Information Technology is 29.11.2013. During period 20.12.-6.1. study attainments are not registered to the study register.
