As part of Vincit Oy's roadshow tour in Turku
on Monday Nov 26 at 11-12 (lecture room Alpha),
we have a guest lecture by Vincit Oy:

   Can a software project succeed?

According to Standish group, 67% of software projects fail. We
challenge traditional metrics for success and present practical tools
for achieving better software projects. We also show how a project
which is late by a year can be highly successful - and why the movie
Titanic was a complete failure!

Quest speakers

MSc Jarkko Järvenpää: Jarkko has been selling software projects using
wrong criteria for many years. That is more features, faster and
cheaper. After moving to Vincit he now thinks he has got it right.
Currently Jarkko is responsible for sales & marketing at Vincit.

MSc Pasi Kovanen: Pasi has been laid off twice from a software company
due to bankruptcy. Now Pasi heads Vincit's customer projects.

Vincit Oy is a passionate software company which was founded on 2007
to deliver challenging software projects in an agile way. Today it has
delivered more than 190 successful software projects - and four failed
ones. Main competence areas are information systems, embedded software
and mobile applications. Vincit is Great Place to Work 2012 finalist
and Tietoviikko magazine's company of the year 2012. More information:
