Hi Productization students,

the following courses are available in period 4

Special Course in Productization: To give students basic understanding 
on the context and theory of product development. Course will cover the 
basics of innovation and New Product Development processes and their 
evolution.  After the course student should be able to understand 
concepts such as innovation, product development, management of 
technology etc.

Lean Six Sigma Project: The course is done as individual work and can be 
started at any time by contacting Mr. Jarno Kankaanranta.
Prospective students should have passed courses DTEK8032 Basic Lean Six 
Sigma Methods and DTEK8021 Design of Experiment for Lean Six Sigma 
Practitioners before starting the course.

Design of Experiment for Lean Six Sigma Practitioners: One difficulty in 
survey data is that it is not possible to inference the causalities. 
When the data have sampled with designed experiments it is possible to 
develop robust product and process. The goal of this course is to give 
the basic tools how to detect the factors which have the most effects to 
the quality performances of the product and process.
