We are now looking for a
PRODUCER OF ARS22 SEMINAR
to the Museum of Contemporary Art Kiasma.

As a producer for ARS22 seminar, you will be responsible for coordinating and producing the interdisciplinary seminar that is part of Kiasma's ARS22 exhibition programme. The seminar takes place October 11th - 12th in two venues at Kiasma and EMMA. It is collaboration between Kiasma, Academy of Fine Arts / Uniarts, EMMA Espoo museum of Modern Art, Frame and Saastamoinen Foundation.

Your tasks will include the coordination in Kiasma, with and between the partners and speakers, the invited seminar guests with the support from Kiasma team. You will be in charge of the overall planning, managing execution and scheduling of the seminar. Arranging the practicalities, e.g. travel arrangements and bookings, coordinating and collecting the materials for and from the speakers and communication and PR, organizing the technical realization of the seminar would be your core tasks. Production work during the seminar days include the overseeing the events of and around the seminar, and assisting the speakers. The reporting and assisting in the financial administration after the seminar is part of the job. You will collaborative closely with Kiasma curatorial team members and colleagues at EMMA and representatives of the Saastamoinen foundation.
In addition, your tasks can include other production and assisting tasks related to Kiasma's ARS22 exhibition/programming as instructed by Kiasma team.

We ask you to have excellent organizational skills and that you are collaborative: you are able to organize your own work and coordinate between the partners and the team. You enjoy hands-on production work and intensity of an event production. You have relevant experience in organizing events and you are interested in contemporary art and studies related are an advantage/preferred. You have excellent communication skills, your English is good both in writing and speaking.

The work is part-time during August-October 2022, flexible but to be agreed together. The working hours equal approximately 1.5 month full-time.
