Perjantaina 13. joulukuuta 2013 kello 12 esitetään Turun
yliopistossa julkisesti tarkastettavaksi filosofian lisensiaatti Päivi
Kirsiina Kuosmasen väitöskirja ”The Nature of Nomadic Power. Contacts
between the Huns and the Romans during the Fourth and Fifth Centuries”
(Paimentolaisvallan luonne. Hunnien ja roomalaisten väliset kontaktit
300–400-luvulla). Virallisena vastaväittäjänä toimii Dr. Thomas
Brüggemann (Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg) Saksasta ja
kustoksena professori Auvo Kostiainen. Paikka: Pub 3 -luentosali, Publicum,
