Suomen Akatemian hanke “Taidehistorian omakuva” järjestää
yhteistyössä  Ateneumin taidemuseon ja Taidehistorian seuran kanssa
tieteellisen,  englanninkielisen symposiumin:
 
The Challenges of Biographical Research and the Present  -
Geschichtskultur of Art History

Ateneumin taidemuseon auditoriossa
 
Symposium pohtii moniäänisesti biografisen tutkimuksen nykyhaasteita 
taidehistoriassa niin taiteilijabiografioiden kuin taidehistorian 
historiaan liittyvien tutkimusten kannalta. Kutsuttuina 
kansainvälisinä pääpuhujina esiintyvät professori Michael Viktor 
Schwarz Wienin yliopistosta ja professori Yvonne Eriksson
Mälardalenin  yliopistosta.
