Speakers: Prof. Lynn Lees is the leading US historian of European
cities; Alan Gilbert, Professor of Geography in London, has written
extensively on Latin American cities; Prof. Paul Knox recently
published Cities and Design; Dr Paul Waley is a well known expert on
modern Japanese cities. Professor Marjatta Hietala is the acclaimed
Finnish urban historian; Jussi Jauhiainen is the prominent Finnish
urban geographer.
