[Dino] ”Multilingualism and Children’s Literature – New Perspectives” published in Barnboken

Dear all,

as guest editors, we are proud to announce that the theme ”Multilingualism and Children’s Literature – New Perspectives” is complete. In late March it was published in open access in Barnboken: Journal of Children’s Literature Research, vol. 47 (2024) and 48 (2025):

The theme contains nine articles, of which four are in English, two in Norwegian and three in Swedish, and they are all accessible through links in our introduction (in Swedish, vol. 48), which is attached as a pdf to this message. There are contributions by scholars from Finland, Norway, Poland and Sweden, and their articles comprise literary examples in Arabic, English, Finnish, Hebrew, Italian, Ladino, Norwegian, Persian, Sámi languages, Swedish and Finland Swedish, as well as pseudo-script.
