We are pleased to invite you to the presentation of the second 
published volume of poems of the Skolt-Saami author and poet Askold 
Bazhanov. This collection of poems is the first to include English 
translations of Bazhanovs original Russian texts. In addition, this 
bilingual edition includes an essay by the literary critic Johanna 
Domokos and an epilogue by the translator Naomi Caffee. The book will 
undoubtedly help to increase the awareness of Bazhanov's work both 
within and outside of Sápmi.

There will be two presentations: the first presentation will be held 
on Friday the 13th of November at 18:00 at the library in Lovozero. 
The second presentation will take place in Murmansk on Tuesday the 
17th of November at 18:00 at the Department of Regional and Saami 
Literature of the Murmansk State Regional Universal Scientific 
Library. Askold Bazhanov will participate in both presentations. You 
are welcome to participate at one or both of these events.
