Kevät taitaa vähitellen saapua Turkuun, sää lämpenee ja aurinko lämmittää jo ihanasti. Toivotaan, että takatalvi ei iske. Kevät tuo tullessaan 91. Kuohuviinitanssiaiset ja sitä varten olemme lähettäneet ehdotuslomakkeet vuoden opetushenkilö -palkinnoista sekä

 TYK ry:n omista kunnianosoitusten saajista. Käykäähän siis äänestämässä! Itse Kuohuviinitanssiaisista tulee infoa aivan pian. <br>

Ensi viikolla yliopistolla järjestetään hyvinvointiviikko ja torstaina 12.3. ympäri kampusta pidetään tulevaisuusvartteja. Meidän oma tulevaisuusvartti pidetään Orbitaalilla klo. 15-16, lisää infoa löydät alta. Myös kirppistapahtuma ja 2016-bileet ovat ensi

 viikolla eli paljon hauskaa on taas tiedossa! :)<br>

 on korkeakoulutettuja</strong>. Tämän seurauksena mm. aloituspaikkoja saatetaan lisätä.</span></span></p>

</li><li><span style="font-size:14px"><span style="font-family:arial,helvetica neue,helvetica,sans-serif">Teknillisen tiedekunnan johtokunta esittää <strong>kevään 2026 yhteishakuun 8 uutta biokemian aloituspaikkaa</strong> (LuK + FM). Rehtoraatti/hallitus voivat

 vielä muuttaa päätöstä.</span></span> </li><li><span style="font-size:14px"><span style="font-family:arial,helvetica neue,helvetica,sans-serif">Samalla <strong>hallitus on leikkaamassa korkeakoulujen perusrahoitusta 65 miljoonalla</strong> eurolla vuosina 2026–2028, mikä vaikuttaa opetukseen ja tukipalveluihin.</span></span>

 labrakurssien määrän, tilat sekä heikon työllisyystilanteen. Valitettavasti kannanottomme ei vaikuttanut aloituspaikkojen määrään, mutta herätti keskustelua.<strong> Laitokselta </strong><strong>haluttiin kuulla enemmän mielipiteitämme</strong><strong>, jotta

 opetusta voidaan kehittää oikeaan suuntaan</strong> seuraavaa opetussuunnitelmaa varten. </span></span></p>

 vastaavana edustan kaikkia biokemistejä ja toivon, että käyttäisitte aikaa kyselyn täyttämiseen, jotta jokaisen opiskelijan ääni tulisi kuuluviin! Vien esille tulleet asiat eteenpäin, jotta voidaan aikaansaada muutosta ja varmistaa etteivät mahdolliset lisäaloituspaikat

 aiheuttaisi ongelmia. Kyselyn tulokset puretaan kevään kopokahveilla, yhdessä laitoksen henkilökunnan kanssa. Siitä infoa myöhemmin! </span></span></p>

Do you remember the year 2016 like it was yesterday? Has it been ages since your last house party? When have you last used a choker? Or played Pokemon GO? Has it been an eternity since you last reminisced the year 2016?🎀<br>

<br>

<strong>On Thursday the 12th of March beginning at 5 pm you can come to TYY's Sauna to relive the year 2016!</strong>🙈 Together Skandica and TYK ry are hosting a hangout night, where you can play games, snack and enjoy good company! Once the clock has struck

 8 pm and the parents have left for the theater, the event transforms into a house party, where iconic songs will be heard, the sauna will be hot and the atmosphere will be amazing!🥳 There will also be held a 2016-themed music quiz with amazing prices.<br>

Arranging a party isn’t cheap for the hosts, so <strong>the price to enter the party is 4 euros.</strong> Snacks will be served, but unfortunately dad’s liquor cabinet is locked this time😔 It is more than recommended you bring your own drinks, own snacks are

 also more than welcome. Respecting the theme of the event, the dresscode is 2016 (+ overalls).🕺<br>

<strong>The signing up to the event opens on Thursday March 5th at 8.16 pm.</strong> The form will close on March 11th at 8.16 pm. Information about payment will be sent to those who have signed up. 20 spots have been reserved for Skandica’s members and<strong>

 30 for TYK ry’s members.</strong>👯 You should not totally give up on the event if you don’t get a spot on Thursday, as tickets will be sold at the entry depending of the momentary capacity.<br>

Therefore, we are launching a overall patch design competition and we would love for you to participate!<br>

The theme of the patch can relate to the fields of science or technology, something about our beloved University hilll, Vappu, Turku, the faculties, or the general science-tech mayhem. Anything that connects to Hybridi members!<br>

You don’t need to be a graphic design, you can simply sketch the patch on paper and take a photo of it.<br>

To participate, send your design via the form provided or to hybridi@utu.fi by Sun 8.3. at 11:59 PM.

</strong>After that, the board will select 0-3 designs to order. You can submit more than one design, but each person can win only one prize.<br>

 the official start of the city’s May Day celebrations. The event is organized by us biology students, and that’s why we invite you to enjoy the unique pre-party atmosphere of the 8-appro as part of BiTa 2026! </span></span></p>
