<span style="letter-spacing:-0.2px; line-height:21px">Turun kaupunki järjestää jo viidettä kertaa DemoDay-tapahtuman yhdessä Turun yliopiston, Åbo Akademin, Turun ammattikorkeakoulun ja Yrkeshögskolan Novian kanssa. Tapahtuman tavoite on lisätä lukiolaisten
kiinnostusta ns. STEM-alojen tutkintoihin Turussa päivän aikana tutkijoiden järjestämien erilaisten työpajojen, demojen ja laboratoriovierailujen kautta. Osallistujat ovat STEM-aineisiin opinnoissaan suuntautuneita ensimmäisen vuoden oppilaita Turun seudun
lukioista. Aiempina vuosina lukiolaiset ovat päässeet mm. kokeilemaan salasanojen murtamista, keskustelemaan robotin kanssa, pelaamaan matemaattista lautapeliä ja testaamaan uusinta terveysteknologiaa.</span></div>

lyhyen perehdytyksen ennen tapahtumaa, johon avustajan tulee osallistua. Avustajille maksetaan 50 euron palkkio. Ensisijassa avustajia etsitään teknillisen ja matemaattis-luonnontieteellisen tiedekunnan opiskelijoista.</span></div>
