Opiskelijatuutori on vertainen, jonka tehtävänä on ohjata ja neuvoa uutta opiskelijaa. Tuutorilla on merkittävä rooli uusien opiskelijoiden vastaanottamisessa. Tuutori auttaa heidät kiinni opiskelijayhteisöön ja opintoihin.<br>

TYK ry järjestää tuutorikisuttelut tiistaina 20.2.2024 klo 14-15 ja keskiviiikkona 21.2.2024 klo 15-16 Orbitaalilla. Tuutorikisutteluihin ovat kaikki tervetulleita keskustelemaan tuutoroinnista jo kokeneiden tuutoreiden kanssa ja on myös mahdollisuus kysyä
vinkkejä tuutorihakemuksen kirjoittamiseen. Lisäksi kansainvälisestä tuutoroinnista on mahdollista kysyä kisutteluihin osallistuvilla tuutoreilta. Tule moikkaamaan hallituslaisia ja aikasempien vuosien tuutoreita, jos tuutoritoiminta ei ole sinulle tuttua

A student tutor is a peer whose task is to guide and advise a new student. The tutor helps them connect to the student community and their studies.<br>

TYK ry organizes tutor discussion on Tuesday 20.2. at 14-15 and on Wednesday 21.2.2023 at 15-16 in Orbitaali. There you'll have a chance to discuss tutoring and ask for tips regarding the tutor application. The participating tutors will also have information

Yhteiskunnan ja arjen turvallisuuskysymykset ovat viime aikoina olleet useasti esillä ja huoli turvattomuuden lisääntymisestä on kasvanut. Tämän kyselytutkimuksen tarkoituksena on selvittää Turun yliopiston opiskelijoiden kokemaa turvattomuuden tunnetta Turun
Ylioppilaskyläsäätiön (TYS) asunnoissa ja niiden ympäristössä.<br>

Tutkimuksen tarkoituksena on selvittää minkälaiset asiat vaikuttavat opiskelijoiden kokemaan turvattomuuden tunteeseen, minkälaista alueellista vaihtelua turvattomuuden tunteessa esiintyy ja miten turvattomuuden tunnetta voisi vähentää TYS:n asunnoissa ja niiden
ympäristössä.<br>

Kyselytutkimus on osa yhden opiskelijan pro gradu- opinnäytetyötä Turun yliopistossa ja sen tuloksia käytetään kyseisessä opinnäytetyössä ja myöhemmin mahdollisesti myös muissa opinnäytetöissä.<br>

Kyselyyn voi vastata jokainen TYS:n asunnoissa asuva yliopisto-opiskelija. Jos samassa taloudessa asuu useita henkilöitä, niin kaikki henkilöt voivat vastata kyselyyn erikseen. Suurin osa kyselyn kysymyksistä on monivalintakysymyksiä ja siihen vastaamisessa
kestää noin 15-20 minuuttia.<br>

Safety questions of the society and people's everyday lives have recently been on display and some concern has risen about the increase in the feeling of unsafety. The objective of this survey is to investigate the feeling of unsafety that students of University
of Turku might be experiencing in the apartments of Turku student village foundation (TYS) and their surrounding areas.<br>
<br>
The aim of this research is to find out what things affect the feeling of unsafety that students experience, what kind of regional variation there exists and how the feeling of unsafety could be reduced in TYS apartments and their surrounding areas.<br>
<br>
This survey is a part of one student's pro gradu- thesis in the University of Turku and its results will be used in the said thesis and possibly in other theses as well.<br>
<br>
Each university student living in TYS apartments can answer the survey. If there are multiple people living in the same apartment then each one of them can answer separately to the survey. Most questions in the survey are multiple-choice questions and it takes
about 15-20 minutes to answer them.<br>

No mikäs sitten on Teekkarikuoro? Turun Teekkarikuoro on suunnattu teekkarinmielisille laulajille, mutta kaikki kiinnostuneet ovat tervetulleita! Kuoron tavoitteena on olla mukava ja lämminhenkinen viikoittainen vapaa-ajan aktiviteetti, johon on helppo hypätä
mukaan. Kuoro ei pidä laulukokeita eikä aikaisempaa kuorotaustaa ei tarvitse olla, joten voit vain loikata toimintaan mukaan kesken vuoden. Kuorossa opetellaan alkeita ja kokeillaan uutta.<br>
