varten. Tutkimuksemme keskittyy kisspeptiini-nimisen neuropeptidin ympärille ja tavoitteena on selvittää kisspeptiinin tai sen signalointijärjestelmän soluspesifisiä vaikutuksia reproduktiossa ja kehon energiansäätelyssä. Malleina käytämme geenimuunneltuja
hiirimalleja, jotka on kehitetty toimestamme tässä projektissa. Opiskelijalta edellytämme innokuutta ja korkeaa motivaatiota tehdä tutkimusta ja kykyä työskennellä kansainvälisessä työympäristössä. Aiempi kokemus laboratoriotyöskentelystä ja etenkin molekyyli-
ja solubiologian parista on eduksi, mutta ei välttämätöntä. Eläinten kanssa työskentely on myös mahdollista, mutta ei vaatimus. Opiskelijan oma motivaatio vaikuttaa projektin suuntaan.
